SCULFORT Telecontrolled Railroad Shunter The Shunter RC 2000
SCULFORT Telecontrolled Railroad Shunter The Shunter RC 2000
The Shunter is used as supporting equipment for the Underfloor Wheel Lathe, which is mainly used to move railcars and other vehicles to alignment for maintenance.
Advantages of The Shunter
The Shunter's efficient control design and extremely small radius of gyration make it possible to switch between road and railway modes. It can easily tow and dismount vehicles using the coupler, making the RC2000 more convenient and faster in dispatching rail vehicles.

It has two control functions: manual driving (road/railway) and wireless remote control. Both functions have a safety interlock function with the underfloor wheel lathe to ensure safety of operation. The Shunter can travel on tracks with a gauge of 1435mm or on a concrete road.

The closed cab design is convenient for outdoor work and shelters from the rain. The inside includes a driving seat, an electric fan, a steering wheel, a dashboard, and a foot control switch.
